Welcome to Rebuilding Together Portland!

We’ve been helping low-income homeowners in Portland for more than 30 years!

Repairing more than 1,700 homes with 35,000 volunteers and adding $25 million of value back into the community. And counting!

We are a nonprofit organization that assists low-income homeowners with safety and livability home repairs at no cost. We primarily help adults aged 65 and greater, veterans, and people with disabilities who are unable to financially and/or physically make repairs themselves throughout Portland.

Our programs include Rebuilding Days, Community Revitalization and the Safe and Healthy Home Repair Program.

Rebuilding Day Program

We had a successful Rebuilding Day program with the support of our sponsors, partner organizations, board members, and hundreds of volunteers.

Safe and Healthy Home Repair Program

Our Safe and Healthy Home Repair Program supports our most vulnerable low-income homeowners with smaller repairs such as:

  • Small carpentry repairs such as broken or rotted steps or replacement of deteriorating porch or siding boards

  • Installation of grab bars, handrails, raised toilets, and smoke detectors throughout your home

  • Small electrical repairs including outlets, switches, fixtures, etc.

  • Leaky faucets, toilets that don't flush, or other minor plumbing issues

How can you help us?

We’d love your help spreading the word to friends, family and colleagues about the important work we do. We also are seeking corporate sponsors and donations to increase our impact.
